We had a super morning at our Big Breakfast with lots of families and visitors coming in to have a bacon roll and a cuppie. We raised £151, with the money going towards continuing our own Breakfast Club for the pupils. The pupils also had a special Big Breakfast at playtime today and were serving breakfast for our visitors. It was a super morning and we cannot thank everyone enough for coming along. Thank you to everyone who donated food items for the morning - we could not have done it without you! Check out the pictures from the morning in our online gallery.

Our second group of pupils started their Horsemanship Programme practical sessions at Rannoch Equestrian today. The group had to catch their pony for grooming and learned all about the different bits of a grooming kit. They had a super time (and left a very shiny pony!). Check out the pictures in our online gallery.

We had a super time in Perth visiting the Museum and Art Gallery to complete a Transport Hunt. We are looking forward to announcing the winning team at Together Time next week. We also visited the Web Walk at Perth Recycling Centre with Fiona from the PKC Waste Awareness Team. We learned a lot about what happens to our waste once our blue, green and brown bins are collected in. Check out the photos from our trip in our gallery. We would like to say a huge thanks to the PKC Waste Awareness Team for helping us with transport to Perth.

Today P4-7 were given a real treat and got to be Chemistry Students for the afternoon. We were delighted to welcome in Calum and Craig from Generation Science. They came in to class and let our pupils experiment with chemical reactions that went fizz, boom and bang! A huge thank you to SSE who have sponsored this event for our class - we thoroughly enjoyed it! It was super to bring together some of our previous learning about solids, liquids and gases as well as try out some new experiments for ourselves. Check out the photos in our online gallery.

Today we had a brilliant session at Rannoch Equestrian learning all about what to feed your horse. We looked at the different types of feed that you can give a horse and learned how many times a day you should feed them. We also learned how to walk on, turn right and left and stop safely when riding. Check out some of the super pictures from our session in our online gallery. We also have some photos of dismounting our very patient pony, Goldie. They will be in our class Big Books - pop in and see for yourself! We cannot wait until next week!
